There Is A Lot To Love About Spring Cycling

Spring is in the air and along with it are the thousands of men and women, girls and boys who have waited through the long, cold winter to get back on their bikes. They are ready to say good-by to those long months of too much television viewing and too little exercising. No doubt extra pounds have found their way to many waistlines and muscles are significantly much less defined than they were at the end of last fall after a nice long season of regular workouts. Now is the time to change all of that. It's time to turn off the remote, get off the couch and regroup. The cumbersome boots and heavy winter coats can now be stored and out can come the warm weather t-shirts, cycling shorts and fitted cycling jerseys. Hallelujah! This season has not arrived one minute too soon. A good many of us must feel exactly the same way because the streets are becoming crowed with cycling enthusiasts traveling in pairs, in groups and solo. The bright colors of their jerseys are a most welcome sight and compliment the emerging colors of the passing landscapes on every side.

While it is true that there are still exercises to do and sports to be involved with during the cold months of the year, it is the renewed passion for cycling that fuels the enthusiasm of many athletes. Clipping their shoes into the pedals they head out for a long morning ride where they can enjoy the brilliant rays of the early sun and feel the heat against their faces. The morning air is still fairly cool and feels invigorating against the skin energizing the muscles to work harder, faster. Somehow, it looks so much easier and more pleasant to get one's exercise during during the warmer months than it does when the snow is piled up on the sidewalks and the air bites hard into the skin. Gliding along the roadway under low leafy branches is ever so much nicer than grinding it out on the treadmill at the local gym with all the other sweaty bodies.

Feeling at one with nature and life is a great way to spend one's workout time and a pretty great way to start out the day. Interestingly there seems to be an instant camaraderie with other cyclists who you encounter who are enjoying nature in the same fulfilling way. There is a long list of things to love about Springtime but getting on your bike and heading out for an exhilarating and thoroughly enjoyable ride is certainly one of them.

Moving Into Your First Home the Green Way

Moving out of the parental home and into one's first home is very exciting, if perhaps a little scary. Suddenly the reality of adulthood is sinking in: rent payments will need to be made on time, bills will arrive on the door step … and household chores are waiting, when one returns home from work or university.

Before one can settle into domestic bliss, there is the stressful day of moving home. No matter how many cardboard boxes one has managed to get from the supermarket, there never seems to be enough to store all one's belongings. Even after a drastic "cull" among the children heirlooms and teenage memories one has been holding on to, there are still the clothes, the files needed for university or work, the books one can not bear to part with and the CDs, DVDs and technical paraphernalia that comes with modern living.

Keeping valuables safe during the house move is paramount, but cardboard boxes from the supermarket or newsagents are not designed to carry heavy loads like books or files, let alone computer equipment. Worse, after the day of moving one is left with a pile of wrappings and cardboard boxes that clutters up the new flat until the day of the fortnightly waste collection. Although purpose made cardboard moving boxes can be recyclable and possibly even reusable after the move, they can be expensive to buy. At a time when most young people are struggling to find work or the money to go to university with escalating university fees, saving money during the house move is more important than ever.

Hiring green recyclable, reusable plastic moving boxes is a viable alternative to cardboard, especially since most cardboard, even the recyclable kind, ends up in landfill sites. Moving boxes can be hired for a whole week for very little money, plenty of time to pack up the things one wants to keep and to take the rest to a charity shop or sell them online. After the move the rented boxes are returned to the hire company. There is no waste and many other people get to enjoy the benefits of using these strong, stackable moving boxes.

Rather than making many trips with a self-drive rented van because the cardboard boxes can not be stacked high enough, one can save petrol and time by packing up marriages into recyclable, reusable plastic moving boxes fit for the purpose. This saves not just on cost of fuel but also on time with regard to the van hire, since vans can be hired for half days or just a few hours rather than a whole day or weekend.

When one arrives in one's new home, there is always the annoyance of the previous occupant having removed all the light bulbs. Moving into a new home typically means spending some money on replacing every single light bulb in the property. Oh, and one must not forget the toilet paper – that's never where it should be on the day!

How Choosing A Convenient Forex Broker

Due to the fact that forex trading is becoming more and more popular the number of forex brokers is growing rapidly. Choosing a convenient forex broker is not so easy for traders. It depends on different facts, some are common such as spreads, execution, platform and some are related to specific traders needs such as hedging, swap …

In this article you will find all the points that you have to take into consideration before choosing your forex broker.

Spread

The spread is the price difference between the buy and sell (ask and bid). Spreads differ between brokers but this does not mean those brokers that provide the lowest spread are convenient for you! Some broker change the value of the spreads depending on the market conditions and others do not. If the spread is not changeable, the forex broker lists it as an advantage and they stated that they have fixed spread. A broker who provides fixed spreads is good for you especially if you are using stop loss in your trading strategy because if the broker changes the spread according to the market conditions, your positions may close at their stop levels where they should not.

Execution

The execution time is very important and should not be delayed by the broker for any reason especially if you are an intraday trader where you have to enter the market as quickly as possible in order to seize the current available opportunity. Some brokers slow the execution of the orders, this issue would affect negatively on your trades because the rate of the currency pair would change during this period of time so you will be obliged to enter the market at a different rate than the rate you wanted. Almost all traders would prefer a real time execution. For this reason this is a cruel option that can not be compromised.

Trading Platform

Trading Platform or Forex Trading software is very important for the traders. In fact the platform is the software that you will be using to trade. If you are not comfortable with it how are you going to trade? First of all, the trading platform or trading software has to give you real time rates, second and it's the most important factor, trading platform has to enable you automatic execution of the orders. Some traders prefer to set trailing stop in their orders. This option is very important too and has to be present. If you are following a pure technical trading system, your platform has to enable you writing a small program that executes and manages orders when your criteria are met.

Support

Forex is a 24 hour market, so your broker should offer 24 hour support. All good forex brokers have online support through chat and phone calls.

In Conclusion

Choosing a forex broker is not a tough mission but you have to take your time and check all the options provided by your broker before making up your mind.

How to Earn Money Online

The other day a friend emailed me asking how to earn money online. It's a pretty broad question and I had to stop myself from giving a broad reply. Cos I remembered how much I hate those kinda answers! Like; "how long is a piece of string".

Starting out online can be tough and there are literally thousands of methods of making money online. I would argue that list building is the best and a lot of the top earners online would agree!

List building is putting together a list of email addresses to send a newsletter to. This list of email addresses should be targeted and specific to the niche you are in. A lot of people think that the bigger the email list the better as it will mean more sales. This is not necessarily true. A list of people who are not interested in the products you are selling is as about as useful as a chocolate teacup! Think about it if you've got a shop selling wedding dresses then do you think a bunch of middle age men are going to give you much business? If the bigger the mailing list mean the more money you make, then spammers would be the richest guys on the net!

How do you build a targeted list? The answer is simple, stick to a specific niche or interest area and allow people to have the choice to give their email address or opt in if they are also interested in this niche. You can capture these email addresses by use of an opt in box, which is simply an area on a website or blog where people submit their email address and also usually their name if if you do not know how to set one up ask a webdesigner to do it for you.

Going Car-less For A Day Can Improve Your Time Management & Save Fuel!

When the price of gas is going higher and higher, apart from fully inflating our tires, carpooling, and not putting the pedal to the metal, what else can we do to save energy, while becoming more efficient with regard to our own time management?

Well, let me tell your about yesterday, which was Car-less Tuesday.

All of my work was done by phone and email, I used my own small assortment of exercise equipment instead of trekking to the "Y", and my SUV stayed in the driveway.

Considering it was a scortcher outside, I saved more than a regular day's worth of gas. I would have blasted the air conditioning, cutting my economy by at least a third, had I ventured out.

Today, when I got back out and onto the road, along with a passenger, I was more efficient than ever, planning my driving around various errands we had to do and appointments we needed to have, in and around the Los Angeles area.

Is there a way that you could "park" your car for one day in five, or at least one day in seven?

It would save you money, wear and tear on the car, on you, and it would make you a better time manager, probably on the day before going car-less, as well as on the day after.

Speaking of gas mileage, I'm somewhat surprised that folks who are driving tiny cars, all by themselves, are posturing as fuel economy heroes.

If there are two riders in that hulking SUV in the next lane, the Passenger Mile Per Gallon rating of that beast is probably 30 miles per gallon; fully 20% more efficient than the smaller vehicle with only one occupant.

Moreover, by ride sharing less space is taken up on freeways and surface streets, lessening congestion, and saving time for everyone.

Anyway, suffice it to say there are several ways to manage the clock and to economize, but let's not forget the obvious one; parking that car of yours, large or small, for one day per week!

White Frames: Available In This Color As Well

It is interesting to note what role a picture frame plays in everyday life. Be it white frames or any other type, it basically acts as containers that can ideally contain a portrait, a photo or an important document such as certificate of any nature. Such a frame plays a dual role. Firstly, it goes a long way in making a picture appear more beautiful. Secondly, durability and lasting ability of it is increased by many times.

Gone are the days when such white frames were essentially made of metal or wood. In those formative years when such a frame came into being, its use was restricted to a house or museum. But with changing times, its usability too has witnessed a mammoth shift in its use. Buyers, who buy it, normally do this with diversity intention. For instance, for some it may serve as a perfect way to keep themselves reminded at regular intervals of their nostalgic moments, while for others it could mean to be a perfect home decor item.

There is a select group of people who think opting for white picture frames depicts their love for peace. They think white color represents peace and tranquility, and since having one frame in this color would enable them to achieve their purpose. Diverse taste and need of the hour often warrants proper placing of such a frame. For instance, finding large antique picture frame that adores walls of palaces and museum is a common sight. There is a reason why it is placed in such places. When it is found in walls of these places, the idea is to tell an entire story of the popular royal past of the kings or queens. Often majestic sized frame is selected under these circumstances.

Beside white picture frames there are several types of it. A customized frame is in great demand because of the flexibility it offers to users. Normally when manufactures choose to produce such customized item, they generally tend to take into account their customer's preferences and choices. This way a customer feet satisfied to have received their preferred item simply by shelling some extra money. They sit down to think about memories that they are able to save and the cost they incurred, it appears to be a pittance. Since it is customized it goes a long way in adding uniqueness to its design.

5 Tips to Help Keep Your Day Less Stressful

Let's face it – our days are busy, full, and often stressful. How can we possibly find order in this craziness on a daily basis? Here are some (hopefully) helpful tips:

1) Have your day planned ahead of time. Either the day before, or right before the weekend, take five minutes to organize and plan for your next work day. Clean off your desk, and make a list of tasks that need to get done the following day, preferably in the order of priority.

2) Assign time blocks to each task. I assign each task its own approximate time block. For example, "Write blog post, 30 minutes." This helps me to keep track of how I'm spending my time, as well as to organize the multiple tasks on my plate each day.

3) Limit the number of times you read and answer e-mail. The temptation is always there to read every e-mail that arrives when it arrives – especially if you have an alarm set that lets you know each time you get a new one. Try turning off this alarm, and then stick to checking e-mail just three times a day – morning, noon, and late afternoon.

4) Take an occasional break. This is difficult for me, because I tend to get so wrapped up in what I'm doing that I do not want to stop. I do, however, know the importance of taking breaks, and am training myself to get better at it. Stretch breaks are my favorite since I sit in front of my computer for most of the day. Even just five minutes a few times each day can help both physically and mentally. Set an alarm on your computer for this one … it's definitely a good thing!

5) Have something to look forward to when your work is done for the day. Maybe you really enjoy reading, and are eager to start that great novel. Maybe you want to simply sit down and read the paper, or play with your children or pets. How about cooking a simple but great meal? Having something that helps to transition you from work mode to relaxation mode is the important thing to remember here.

Taking care of ourselves during these extremely busy times is so important. Keep these tips in mind as you go about your busy day. Your body and mind will thank you for it.
